Our Commitment to Copyright
KidSongsTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Site to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
Most content on KidSongsTV falls into one of the following categories:
- Public domain works — classic nursery rhymes, fairy tales, and traditional folk songs that are not subject to copyright
- Original content — blog articles, educational commentary, and editorial text created by our team
- Embedded YouTube videos — displayed via YouTube's official embed API under YouTube's Terms of Service
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on KidSongsTV infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To be valid under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512), your notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including any copyright registration number if applicable.
- Identification of the infringing material — The specific URL(s) on KidSongsTV where the allegedly infringing material is located, in sufficient detail that we can find it.
- Your contact information — Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement — A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Signature — Your physical or electronic signature.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Our Response Process
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
- Notify the content provider (if applicable) that the content has been removed
- Provide the content provider with a copy of the DMCA notice
- Inform the content provider of their right to submit a counter-notification
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, KidSongsTV reserves the right to terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
YouTube Content
Videos on KidSongsTV are embedded from YouTube using YouTube's official embed API. We do not host video files ourselves. Copyright claims regarding video content should be directed to YouTube through their copyright complaint system.
