Farmyard Puzzle
Ages 3-7 · easy
Drag each piece into any empty slot above, or tap a piece then tap a slot:
Drag each labeled piece into any empty slot in the grid to put this farmyard-themed puzzle together, built for children ages 3 to 7. Because there's no single correct picture these pieces have to recreate, any arrangement that fills all four slots counts as solved — the real challenge here is the drag-and-drop itself, not guessing a hidden layout. Unlike a traditional interlocking jigsaw, every piece here is a simple square that drops into an outlined grid slot, a deliberate design choice that keeps the physical drag-and-drop manageable for smaller hands on a touchscreen while still requiring the same spatial reasoning a real jigsaw puzzle demands: comparing a piece to where it belongs and holding that plan in mind while dragging it there. The four-piece grid gives a first-time puzzler an achievable challenge without overwhelming them, and a child can always tap a placed piece to send it back to the tray and try again if they change their mind. There's no timer, so a child who wants to carefully study each piece before placing it can take as long as they like, while a child who wants to move fast and adjust afterward can do that too. This puzzle pairs naturally with Old MacDonald Had a Farm elsewhere on KidSongsTV. For more on how puzzles support hand and spatial skills, see our guide on fine motor skills and music activities.
